I have PC power supply that cannot turn on the computer. I know that all power Supply of two distinct parts, namely primary and secondary parts formed. To ensure that the main section is healthy, I Check purple cable with a voltmeter. If the voltage on the voltmeter shows +3.3V or +5V, I am sure that the primary part is healthy. Now open frame power supply and I will check the secondary section with Ohmmeter. If the test capacitors on both sides of the ohmmeter needle move, capacitor or diode should be replaced. Open Capacitor from circuit with, and Ohmmeter check again and I determined that the diode is healthy or not. The Power supply the eye becomes apparent that some of the capacitors broken. I exchange them with new capacitors and power Supply is ready.
